January 2, 2018  Achieve 3000 - The article is not being 
                                                     given as homework.
January 3, 2018  We began the genre of 
                            research-based information writing.
                            The focus topic is teen activism.
                            Student are taking intense notes

January 4, 2018   Students are developing note taking skills 
                          which they will need for the rest of their academic career.  
                          Today, the teacher demonstrated how to to take notes and
                          to clean up the notes for usage.
