Literary Argument: Three Little Pigs

Paragraph #1
- Thesis statement was the "admirable" claim.
- Summarize the story

Paragraph #2-#4
- Each admirable quality has its own paragraph.
- Each paragraph cites or explains why the quality is true.

Paragraph #5  -- Conclusion
-Topic Sentence:  The third little pig is admirable.
- Collect the topic sentence from paragraph #2-#4
- Use transition words:  furthermore, one reason, and in
addition

Steps

1) All 5 paragraph in notebook

2) Write clean copy on binder paper.

3) Editor in class

4) Final clean copy -- due next Tuesday (Dec 5)

If you need help, seek out your teacher. Schedule to meet before school,

during lunch or after school.
